Launcher stuck at 0%

I use the latest Dl link and got Launcher v13. It just sits there at 0% not doing anything. I let it sit for an hour with no change.

I wasn't able to find any help with my search-foo. Any thoughts?

For windows at least it could be due to not having privileges or network approval. Other people have had issues with the launcher (at least when updating from 1.3.0 to 1.3.1) and I'm not sure how or if they were resolved. I'd suggest bypassing the launcher and just downloading the current version directly.

I ran it as administrator with the firewall off, and in the DMZ slot of the router but still no go.

I took your suggestion and DL the game direct and that seems to work fine (although 6 hours to download 224mb was atrocious. Is that common? if so that could be a serious barrier for some people).

Not common, no. Server might have been having some difficulties.
