Haven't been able to play tome for over two months

Not since I noticed the te4 account steam created used my real name and it gets broadcast every time I get an achievement. I tried creating a new account with the desired username thinking I could switch my steam login to that account. That account won't work at all. I can't even use it to log into the stand-alone version of tome although it does allow me to log into the website. I've tried using the feedback form a couple times and I've posted here before. I see others have gotten this resolved same day. Is there something I need to do that I'm missing? I'd really like the username on the broken account attached to my steam account, but I'd turn off the broadcasts of my real name just to play if I could find a way to do it.

I could whip up an addon real quick that disabled pushing achievements, if you want, but you'd still show up on the user list, and I can't really do much about that.

Thanks for the offer, but yea, you're right, I'd really rather get my real name off the board altogether.

Use the contact form on the site and ask darkgod about changing the account name.

But if you change your real name, the one on the list wont be your real name anymore!

You could have a driver's license with Dragon Lord or something now and be like, yup, that's me! The chicks will love it!

Don't get me wrong, I don't want to sound like I'm bitching and I'm sure darkgod is busy conquering bugs and exploring new content ideas. I was just getting to where I had figured this game out enough to start really enjoying and now I need my fix. I just sent in another contact form. This time I made sure I was logged into the correct account. Maybe I sent it from the wrong one before? Here's crossing my fingers while I shake in withdrawal slightly.

Can I? Didn't realize that was possible. I just assumed I needed to be. Do I lose anything by not being logged in - unlocks or item vault and the like?

Thanks, Housepet. It'd be nice to be connected, but at least now I can play without my name being broadcast every few minutes.

Item vault is probably the only thing you miss out on.
