[1.3b5] Slowdowns When Opening Log

Since downloading 1.3b5 (from here: http://te4.org/dl/t-engine/t-engine4-wi ... omusic.zip) I've been getting major slowdowns between pressing "h" and having the log com up. I've also been having more memory leak problems, but I'm not sure that's related (my instinct tells me it is, but then I don't know crap about programming). Asking around in chat told me I wasn't the only one as well.
