My character got reset to level one in norgos lair =[

Hi guys, love this game.

Anyways first time encountering a bug, luckily not on my main character.

my level 18 oozemancer I got her to the sher'tul fortress with some nice items to put in the item vault.
I logged off, checked my addons, then logged onto steam version to see if the addons were the same.

When i try to load her file, i saw her standing in shertul normally in the picture, but when i click on it, it loaded up and she was a level 1 standing in norgos lair!

it still shows her properly on the character screen

Im pretty sure that steam did not sync over my character files(both versions load from same files), I went to my save games, and her file is around 6 mb large, the same size as another one of my characters the same level. (level 20 alchemist) the save folder also still shows all the zones she visited, but every time i try to load either from steam version or non steam version she is level 1 at norgos lair(the loading screen picture shows her standing in sher tul where i left her)


I really wanted to put 4 items in the item vault that she had and was about to right before this bug happened. is there any way you could fix my character or give back the items or something for the vault. i dont mind rolling a new character but i was about to save those items(standing right in the vault) then this happened.

(also when this happened i had trouble getting onto the te4 website, maybe it was having some issues? Idk if that could be related?)

the items i was about to put in vault were:
solipsist's steel ring of misery <- thats one i wanted most
Sludgegrip (0 def, 0 armour)
Ring of Growth
Bloomsoul (8-8.8 power, 16 apr, nature damage)
Nature's Blessing (8 def, 6 armour)

last good item she had was thorny mindstar 'Morningkill' (10-11 power, 30 apr, mind damage)
she also had a undrunk blood of life.

anyways itd be nice if character could just be fixed or something, or i could get those items replaced? or tell me a way to spawn them in for myself?

I hate cheating but i feel like i got cheated of some good items and my character


sorry my first post had to be a bug, and thanks to dark god for making this amazing game, havn't had any problems before this, i hope you keep developing this game forever!

I have same trouble.
At various times I run the game in one of my two computers and I have enabled Steam Cloud. Sometimes, Steam Cloud doesn't work after my exit from the game thus I lost some my saves. So I want disable Steam Cloud and enjoy the game.
