Strange lag?

Strange lag?
Floor 6 of Dreadfell(With the dwarf ghoul bulwark guy) is obscenely laggy for me. Still trying to clear the area, and it takes a good ~5 seconds just to open my inventory. Everything I do here is just absurdly laggy, and I have no idea why. I've tried restarting the game and the like, but...nope. Anyone else have this problem?

I had a slow level (4 core 2.0 Ghz cpu on linux) but it turned out 2/3 of the level was a vault and all monsters were awake and moving. Once I cleared the vault, everything was fast again. Could that be the problem?
