Tested on Celia. She has a few sustains running and 30 mana left. I cast manaclash that deals about 20 damage and she has about 10 mana left, all sustains are on. How is that possible when it can burn 250+ mana at my level?
Johnny Zero told that there's a bug related to cancelling sustains when the creature has high regen rate(>1). Apparently that was the case because she regenerated quite a few mana points each turn. Can anyone test this as well? Is this a known problem?

Having been on the other end; It's not a consistent bug, and I couldn't tell you when it happens.
Sometimes tossing a Manasurge up before enemies that can Clash you will protect you, sometimes not. I guess it's probably got to do with some kind of timing weirdness.

bump, it's still here

Yeah, I've gotten real frustrated with Manaclash. The first time I went AM I invested heavily in it and threw it at anything that had a magical resource. I rarely touch it now though, as the numbers don't seem to add up. It feels like a waste of a turn to me, at least when it should really count.
