Stuck in the Wife Dream

I've played this area several times, and I've never had this happen. While hunting the Mindworm in the Caldera, I've entered dream state a few times in this game. The first time I entered the wife dream, I was able to successfully complete it without dying. However, the next time I entered the wife dream, I wasn't able to find the wife. I killed all of the ghouls, and none of them was my wife. Now, I can't get out of the dream. I have literally walked every square in the event maybe one of the mobs was invisible, to no avail. I can't even kill myself to get out of here. Help! I have a great character that I don't want to give up on just because of this.


EDIT --- I was able to kill myself to get out of the dream. I still believe it's a strange bug I encountered.

Me too, but it was a close thing ... ahhh wait, you mean the one in the volcano

I had the exact same bug! How do you kill yourself? I can't find a way..

zephyr7913 - it took me a little while to think of way . I eventually hit 'm' to pull up the skills menu - the guy has only one skill, attack. So I assigned the skill to the 1 key. From there you can just hit 1 and then self select. It's a bit tedious because you have to continually confirm that you want to hit yourself, but with a little patience, you will be able to kill yourself and wake up.
