Game Froze on High Peak

I was playing an draconian Oozemancer and made it to the slime tunnels after beating the bosses and heading to the stairs my game got stuck on the loading bar i decieded to wait and after 10 minutes i shut down the game. well now i am in high peak 1 but the screen is black i cant do anything and days are ticking past one per second.
Is there any way to fix this? or do i have to start over yet again?
