Game log description is linked at the end of the post.
Here is what happened:
I CtE'd a rare and killed it using attack tallents, one of which was Turn back the clock. After it died I walked a bit (less then 10 steps), then used autoexplore. Autoexplore waited for 50ish turns for resources to max out, then went around the map wandering back where the fight took place, and I died. Death message said I died of my own Turn back the clock. The screen shot with the log is here:

It appears that you were hit by your own projectile (turn back the clock). The only thing that I can think of is that the timeline reversion effect of CtE sent you back to a point where your projectile was still in the air, except that the spell doesn't last anywhere near the 50+ turns you describe.
If you see this happen again, please figure out how to reproduce it.

Yup, that is my guess also. Although between CtE ending with the rare dead and me running into my own projectile that doesn't usually last more then couple of turns were almost 100 turns of rest and autoexplore. Do check out the log. :> I have absolutely no idea how to reproduce this, but possibly it will happen again, and then I'd be able to post steps to make it happen.
