[1.0.4] Players unable to enter name

I've had two different players tell me they can't play Veins due to a weird bug. They are unable to enter player name but cannot progress due to the '2 letter name' requirement.

I believe both affected players had US English keyboards and one of them says ToME has worked fine on the same computer with the same keyboard setup.
