Shadow Crypt boss broken by bone shield change
The boss of the shadow crypt never summons your shade unless the bone shield is gone, but it remains now instead of being unsustained. I don't get to unlock doomed sadface (Actually I'm just going to clear the zone file and boss and manually remove the bone shield)

I just killed him on my Skele Archer and he didn't summon the shade either ... could it be because i nuked him down to fast?

The fix doesn't appear to be in my 1.04 file or maybe I'm mistaken?

Hey yeah this isn't fixed at all. I'm using a skeleton Temp Warden and I've tried a few different ways to get it to summon me, including just taking about 2000 worth of damage with heals and shields waiting for it. I searched TOME Shadow Crypt boss bug and found this thread, so I'm bumping it.

It failed on me on my first attempt too, and I was a ghoul Archmage, so I'm kinda guessing that it fails against undead for some reason? Is this working as intended?

Fixed means it's fixed in the SVN repository. (Or Git, or whatever is being used now.)
Players won't see a change until the next update comes out. That may not be for a while. Until then, there is a workaround, you need to turn off the bone shield sustain. There are a few ways to do this. Disperse magic, Gloves of Dispersal (which activate for the same thing), Corrupted negation, and Spell Feedback. (Last one is risky. While under the feedback effect, there's a chance each turn for magic sustains to be turned off. Could be a long time under the effect before it turns off bone shield.) When the bone shield sustain is turned off, the shade will be summoned.

t5 Spellhunt Ramnants' 'antimagical cone' can turn off the sustain as well
