Invincible Grand Corruptor after fall of Zigur

Ok not really sure if this is a bug...

Playing at a lich necro.

I sided with the Grand Corruptor and went to clear Zigur with his cohorts.

After killing every Ziguranth I tried to kill the Corruptor himself. However no spell I tried on him could hurt him or his 1 remaining cohort. They remained green throughout...

Seeing this, I left Zigur and went back to the Mark of Spellblaze to try and kill him there. He wasn't there...

On a related note, after winning (got the artifact ring) in the arena in the Slave Compound, I found all my darkness spells had no effect on the Slave Master. Only when I hit him with a Chill of the Tomb was he hurt and turned aggro. Not sure if it is a related bug...if this is a bug at all...

IIRC you can make them turn aggro by talking to them

Isn't there a necro talent that makes darkness damage not hurt friendly/neutral critters?

Edit: I mean in respect to the slave master.
