1.0.1 -- enemy not removed from play by death

Hi,

I've just run into an odd error where an enemy summoned warhound still appears on the map -- and can still be attacked and damaged -- even though both it and its summoner have been killed. It doesn't actually do anything, but I can hit it, and it stops me from resting or moving onto that space.

I made a copy of the save when I encountered this glitch, which I can provide if necessary.

That's an old bug. It seems to mainly affect things that were summoned by an enemy or split from an enemy like worms.

Oh, OK.

This is the only time I've seen it come up, and I didn't see anything about it from skimming the most recent pages of bug reports. I apologise if it's a known heisenbug or something like that.

That said, it might be something about that particular game -- I encountered this a second time with the same character (a cornac paradox mage, in case you're wondering), despite having never seen it happen before.

This is an ancient bug, but it does seem to be occurring a lot in 1.0.1 after a long hiatus.
