My golem died a lot on a level with the blight-element global effect of the High Peak. I can tell because whenever I view him now, he has +180% blight damage, -95% blight resist and 0% healing mod (it's probably well below 0%, but that's not displayed). You can see this to a degree in normal gameplay; when your golem dies with any debuffs on, they are remembered and their counters are decremented when it is resummoned. (For example, if Bender (servant of Fry) dies while under the influence of a wretchling's passive acid splash, reviving him will give you a message about the acid wearing off. "Refitted for 21 turns. Bender (servant of Fry) is free from the acid.")
However, since the High Peak global debuffs work differently, by virtue of how they come and go and also by virtue of not having a set duration, this leads to them stacking on your golem every time it dies and is reborn in the High Peak. (Theoretically, you could also cheese this to stack +% lightning damage on it or something, if you don't mind it being forever burdened with the other effects of that debuff.) In my case, I ended up with the worst effect to get stacked, because now my golem can never be healed.
Alchemy golem can get stacked High Peak debuffs forever.
