I made a character I didn't think would get very far, clearly not even trying to name them correctly, just to try it out with the help of the Infinite Dungeon. I was wrong. I got 35 levels deep and saved my game before diving into a lava-filled vault crawling with luminous horrors; being a fire archmage, I needed some ritual to put my mind at ease before entering a battle like that. After dealing with that vault and handling the rest of the floor, I delved down to the 36th floor and burned a ton of enemies to a crisp before I had to save and exit in order to make an important phone call.
Imagine my surprise when I came back and loaded my game, only to be standing in front of that fiery vault on floor 35 again. Every other character I have, as well as any new ones, still save properly; it's just this one that always gets reset. I couldn't tell you what happened, so instead, I'll leave the save file here on the off-chance that it helps figure this out.

Did your character have any stints in debug mode? Because I had a couple of debug mode characters at one point and their saves were highly unreliable.

Nope! I don't even know how to go into debug mode. This was just a vanilla Infinite Dungeon run; no mods, hacks, debugs, or cheats were used in the making of this save.
