Boss in ruined dungeon teleported behind locked door

One of the pink mini-bosses in the Ruined Dungeon, a solipsist I believe, teleported away as I was fighting him. He's nowhere to be found anywhere in the level and one of the pillars is now stuck inactive; I can only conclude that the boss somehow teleported into the locked room, even though I can't teleport or dig there myself.

He can't be a solipsist because solipsists can't be random elites or random bosses, and he can't teleport into a room that's no_teleport. Was it something that could pass through walls, like a banshee?

Have you tried digging out literally the entire level except for the undiggable teleport-proof part?
