[B43] Dieing after farportal beaten will cause "freeze"

After beating the farportal stage, an exit portal will be created. However, if you die, you will get sent to the afterlife. When you return from the afterlife, another exit will be created and the game will freeze as the words you see in the pic will constantly repeat and scroll up.

The exact things I did:
1. beat stage
2. exit portal generated
3. dug into wall to "see what's out there"
4. die to suffocation
5. return back from afterlife
6. teleported to safety with an equiped misc item
7. a new exit portal was generated and the words you see on screen constantly scroll up
