Defiled wand of firewall doesn't restore vim

It has '100% chance of restoring 4 vim' and it doesn't.

At what level did you find it and when did you use it? In my experience wands that regenerate vim and hate seem to work until i level up. Maybe it has something to do with having sustains.

I found it early and used it a few levels later. I'll have to try to use one as soon as I find it.
