[b42] Can't move after defeating lumberjack boss

I defeat him, get the reward pop ups, and then any attempt to move gives a "can't move" message. I can do everything else except rod of recall or leave the level (I reached the exit with Phase Door).

Stuck... any ideas or workarounds?
