I've played a few melee-heavy characters before that will occasionally switch out to using a staff (generically this happens if I can get the Staff Combat tree and/or Channel Staff). As expected, as soon as I equip the staff I get the Command Staff ability, and it maps to the first available hotkey. I generally like my hotkeys as they are, so I assign it to something that is not used (or unbind it; I don't need to change the staff's element often enough to want a hotkey for it). Later, I take off the staff or switch weapon sets, and Command Staff disappears. Great. The problem arises when I go back to using a staff - Command Staff is right back on the first available hotkey, ignoring any other mapping or unbinding that I had it set to.
On a tangent, Darkgod, as a feature request would it be possible to save 'unbound' keys in the settings? As I mentioned above, I don't need to change a staff's element enough for it to warrant a hotkey for me, so I'd like to save the fact that I don't want it mapped.

I think that if you save the game with it bound where you want it, it will reappear there.
Addons: Arcane Blade Tweaks, Fallen Race, Monk Class, Weapons Pack
