[b32] Can't enter Elvala shops

And I'm a Shalore Alchemist who just started out the game, if it matters.

This doesn't happen all the time...just created a new Shalore Alchemist and I can use the shops fine from the start.

I'm having a similar problem; I created a Dwarf Fighter and I can't enter any of Derth's shops.

Confirmed (and recreated) this problem, it can be induced by (accidentally or deliberately) mushing both angle-bracket keys when entering a town for the first time (or possibly double-tapping) - I'm attaching two saves, one is my original "Hackendash" character who did this when first entering Derth, and subsequently shops were inoperable.. after reloading this char just now, I deliberately munged the keys upon entering Elvala for the first time, so that the Elvala terrain showed for only a split second before another "Loading level etc" dialog came up and I was back on the world map, this time with a slightly broken looking "Saving..." progress dialog in the center of the screen for a second or two, before being out on the world map again. Upon re-entering Elvala, the shops are inaccessible and there also don't seem to be any wandering NPCs generated.

Hopefully this can go some way to tying down the issue, as it can be a real downer for characters without any backups (like this guy ), especially since (as far as I know so far) there are only 3 shopping town places in the beginner's world?

This is I suppose a slightly related question: does shop item generation take into account the clvl when first accessed? It may seem silly depending on the actual game mechanics behind it, but for my newest character I deliberately held off entering one of the towns too early for fear of having it populated with 'noober' items Are my fears unfounded?

P.S: Tried to upload a save file as attachment but it eventually (after uploading the whole file, which isn't quick especially with my country's crappishly limited upstream speeds) errored with "max allowed size is 256kb" - may I suggest adding this information above the attachment area? Editing the forum's template/language files and appending the relevant info to the line that reads "If you wish to attach one or more files enter the details below." would do the trick.

In retrospect, I remember hitting both angle brackets when I was entering Derth as well. I don't remember offhand if it was the first time entering Derth or not, but I think it was.

Apologies for resurrecting a 6+ month old topic, but this was the only instance of the problem I've just encountered that I could find.

I'm using the latest build - 'Flash of the Blade' (beta41) and entered Derth to find all the shops inaccessible. I had used the angle bracket keys once or twice prior to entering, so it seems the same issue above persists.

Is it fixable, or do I need to start a new game?
