Using lua console to get un-stuck...need help

I got stuck going into the Temporal Rift, and now I'd like to use the lua console to get me to a playable state again. I've gotten as far as using the console to load me into a different zone, but I'm not sure how to proceed from here. When I disable cheat mode and reload my save, I end up back in the Temporal Rift. So, is there save command I need to make from inside the lua console, or... is there a different way to get my character un-stuck?

I haven't ran into that particular issue before. I would try teleporting to another zone (eg, the worldmap) to escape, then walking to a set of stairs and changing zones the normal way. Then save, exit, disable cheat mode, reload. That should work, but then again, I can't see why what you did wouldn't have worked either.

How do you exit out of the console? Sorry, haven't figured that out yet.

EDIT: After trying every quit command I know of and not being able to exit the lua console, I clicked off the game window to type in the forum, and when I went back I was out of the console. Not sure what I did to exit it. I was able to save at that point, disable cheat mode, and get back to normal play.

I seem to have an issue on worldmap, near Last hope, that the character no longer moves. Or more to the point, char moves, but the map doesn't update movement.
Tried to relocate myself to daikara and thieves-tunnels, but every time I get back to world map, I'm stuck near Last hope.

Any ideas? My best brawler yet...

Tried to change the charset and all, but to no avail. The calendar still updates, only the map stays put.
I know the actual char moves even with the frozen map, since I got ambushed by and adventurer party when running blindly:)
