[b37] Game Not Responding?

As I play version b37 Dawn of Victory, I am constantly bombarded with the fact the game just seems to 'stop' responding all together. It could happen at any given time due to its nature. Some examples would be:

-Making a new character
-Putting Stat / Talent points in said character
-Fighting Monster('s)
-Going to the Worldmap
-Buying and selling items at shops
-Equipping items
-The list goes on

When the game does infact stop responding I have to usually manually close the program via task manager and I wanted to know if there was anyway to prevent this from happening or if it happens to everyone?

My first suggestion is to check/update your gfx drivers. Other than that, pls tell us your operating system, and other similar technical information.
