[b37] Auto-pickup does not always work.

#1 Post by Grahammm »

Walking over an item on the ground does not always cause it to picked up and put into the chest. I know that game items (such as the rod of recall dropped by the first boss) need picking up manually, but it is now happening with some 'ordinary' items dropped by monsters. I did not see this behaviour in b35 or b36. I think that it might just be items dropped by bosses which are not autp-picked up.

Components for the Brotherhood of Alchemist quests are not automatically picked up, these would be items like bear paw or green worm; are these the same items you can't pick up?

I've only done a little testing but the first boss I fought against I auto-picked up the equipment. Hmm, any other relevant info like class/race/when the bug started/what were you doing just before the bug/etc. ?

I was playing a Thaloren Archer (with bow). The character is now dead. I cannot remember where it started, but certainly in both in both the Lumberjack village and the maze (and I think also in Trollmire and the old forrest) there were items on the ground which were not auto-picked up. The character has the Transmo chest as a birth item and the bug happened both before and after visiting the butler.

Yes, it happens to me too. No idea what causes it, but some weapons/armor/randarts aren't auto picked up.

Chest wouldn't pick up -any- items dropped by the Assassin Lord; this is probably because the items sit on a staircase that he just spawned.

Had to manually pick them up, and then manually transmog them.

Same thing for Subject Z.

I killed the shade and picked up everything except the unidentified object he dropped (Kor's Fall).

I've seen this as well. It tended to happen with adventurers, so I think it's that any items that the opponent is actually using as equipment doesn't get picked up (probably due to whatever new code makes it so that wearing/wielding gear automatically removes it from the transmog chest).
