Massive slowdown when using ctrl compare.

When I hold down ctrl to compare stats on objects there is a huge slow down which can be seen eg. in the auras animating around the character doll. If I hold ctrl down long enough it can lead to the game crashing completely (only had this happen when i've been distracted by something for a while and not taken my finger off so it's not a massive issue!).
