[b32-31]Constant hard lockup

this is the only game on my comp that has problems running with firefox or any media player open. i tried running it in gdb but it crashes the same way(no mouse, keyboard not responding [numlock either] ). last action of te4_log is basically cut in the middle of a sentence (with no errors in the log whatsoever). im kinda bummed coz i usually play these kinda games with tv series running in the "background" and firefox too...
any chance it has something to do with java?

edit: it seems not running anything in the background doesnt mean it wont crash ,czo it just happened, so any web browser and /or any media player running while playing just makes it crash much faster. coz it locks up at the char creation every time when those are running in background ,without them it runs for about 10 mins b4 it crashes.

Could you provide us with your operating system, game version (the latest game version is 31), and also computer specs if you suspect your pc is low on power.

Lastly, did you modify anything in the game code?

latest game version(b31) ( i already tried downloading a "clean" again ,although i didnt modify anything.)

rly dont think its my comp. i ran prime95 and furmark already without problems.

did not modify anything in the game.
btw i did a clean catalyst driver reinstall ,i was able to play 40mins b4 it crashed the same way ,so its progress i guess.
