[b30] Stuck in the sea

#1 Post by Dwarf_Hammer »

I exited the unremarkable cave and received an error. Then, instead of entering the far east I ended up in the sea on the western map. I'm playing the linux (no music) version.

Darkgod may want a copy of the save so if you could back it up where it's at.

To fix your game though I'd turn on cheat mode and use cntrl + mouseclick to teleport or cntrl + a to pull up the debug console and teleport directly to an appropriate zone.

Then save and exit, turn cheat mode back off, and you should be fine.

(To turn cheat mode on you need to put a file in tomes settings folder called cheat.cfg with a single line in that file that says cheat = true)

This is the lua error I received:
Lua Error: /mod/class/Player.lua:852: attempt to index upvalue 'portal' (a nil value)
At [C]:-1__index
At /mod/class/Player.lua:852 fct
At /mod/class/Game.lua:604changeLevel
At /mod/class/Game.lua:1158
At engine/KeyBind.lua:220
And here's the save file:

Thanks! I'll try it.

I tried it, but I got stuck again after leaving the Gates of Morning.

Yes, I had a char had a similar issue, and well, Darkgod fixed it once, but after that it crashed again, as you said on exiting gates of morning.

B31 doesn't have the error... but that's all I can say to help unfortunately.
