[b30] Tutorial Boss Talents
I reached the boss tutorial - Lone Wolf. In its description says it has mastered the talent Gloom, but npcs.lua, which is located in TOME \ t-engine4-windows-1.0.0beta30 \ game \ modules \ tome \ data \ zones \ tutorial says that it must master 3 talent: Gloom, Rush and Cripple.
Re: [b30] Tutorial Boss Talents
In [b31] is still and not just a tutorial Boss. At the same example and Brotoq the Reaver - boss of Escape from Reknor.
Sorry for my bad english.
Re: [b30] Tutorial Boss Talents
I'm not sure I understand, you mean the tooltip listing "Gloom" ?
Tooltips list currently sustained talents and temporary effects, not the whole list of talents a creature have, that'd ruin the surprise

Re: [b30] Tutorial Boss Talents
You anticipate any future tracker abilities feature, like a Angband's monster memory? is still tedious to write abilities of our enemies, we have already seen and will not surprise us

Sorry for my bad english.
Re: [b30] Tutorial Boss Talents
In the face of randomly generated uniques and elites, that wouldn't be terribly helpful. Perhaps if it gave full disclosure right off the bat, for everything, not just the majority (stats, resists, sustained talents and various effects, considerably more than T2 gave immediately) as it does now. That would, to say the least, make for some freakishly huge tooltips in some cases.
Right now, though, T4's monsters are generally much more predictable in what talents they have -- there are relatively few uniquely monster possessed talents. After a bit of familiarity with the classes, you can fairly well predict what a monster is going to throw at you based on its current sustains and whatever it might hit you with at a distance, since it's going to be using the same talents a similarly 'classed' player would be. It gets harder for a critter to really surprise you as time goes by, even if you're not told upfront what it's gunning for you with.
Another line to the tooltip telling what classes the critter may possess might be helpful, though, especially with some of the nastier random critters.

I already think that there is far too much imformation available to the play in regards to npcs. I would be more than happy to have much less of it just given out.
