Defect Summary:
Worldmap NPCs disappear instead of ambusing the player when player is standing on entrance to a dungeon/town.
Steps to Replicate:
1. Find wandering hostile NPC on worldmap, and get it to track you.
2. Find entrance to a dungeon or town. (For testing purposes, I used the Portal to Anglowen and entrance to the Old Forest.)
3. Stand still and allow NPC to get adjacent to you and initiate an attack.
Expected Results:
An ambush is initiated.
Observed Results:
The NPC disappears, and no ambushes occur.
Comments:
I don't know if the behaviour holds true for random worldmap locations, but it certainly seems to hold true for fixed locations. I also can't tell from the LUA scripts what's happening, but my knowledge of LUA is minimal at best, so...

Re: [b25]Worldmap NPCs disappear instead of ambushing player
I figured that the town one makes sense, because it's like the town guards are killing it for you. Not sure if it should work with dungeons unless it's meant to represent the ambushing monsters getting killed by dungeon monsters or something.
