Only leather goods are available in a Tannery.

Comments:
I had obviously sold some items to the Tannery shop before finally thinking of taking a screenshot, but the highlighted Iron Gauntlets were there the very first time I set foot in a shop. I'd have thought that Iron Gauntlets would be more appropriately sold in an Armory instead.
