Perhaps this might be fixed?

Did you map the level? No other disconnected rooms on the level?
Sometimes I find strange "holes" in some level structures, and digging walls reveal more rooms...

Kinda cheaty, but you could switch to a tileset and see if you can spot any open areas adjacent to what you've already explored. With default graphics settings and a tileset, you can see a very dimmed 10% of the next tiles out from the existing wall. Found a few cash "vaults" this way, and with the size of that level I can't imagine what all might also be locked away in there. Could try spamming PD if you've got PD up to controlled, if you don't have a digger yet.
Having satellite internet is a lot like relying on the processes described in those RFC's for your internet. Except, instead of needing to worry about statues interrupting your connection, this time you worry about the weather. I have satellite internet. Fun, no?

Points to note:

1) I am underwater - so digging is a risk, I might run out of air
2) I don't have a digger anyway

Actually as you will have noticed I am an Archmage so this is not, per se, an issue. But if I did not have phase door in any form then that could pose a problem. I am just plain lucky the next set of stairs is in the same area.

Actually that is something the level generator double checks I believe.

OK, then if that is the case I will not worry about it.
