Golem Level

Not sure if this is a bug or not, but my golem seems stuck at level 30. My Alchemist is already level 35 when I noticed it. Is this the golem's max level? Or is something going wrong? Btw, I also read somewhere that golems don't get their updated stats until after they die and are revived (it was from an earlier version of the game though; not sure if it still applies). I already tried killing my golem and reviving him multiple times. No luck on that though.
