Urkis has unlimited non-los dependent range?

Died to Urkis the High Tempest just now. Found him so I teleported to try to clear out the rest of the level. For some reason he managed to keep casting spells at me even though he wasn't anywhere near me. Kept teleporting and running around trying to get away, to no avail, but after activating him he didn't stop hitting me with magic no matter where I was. Kind of weird seeing shock bolts travelling over tons of mountains.

He must have got you with Hurricane. It's like a really nasty DOT spell that zaps you with lightning for lots of turns after he casts it on you, no matter where you go.

I saw the hurricane effect, and it did hit me. I ran around for several minutes getting cast at from other spells in the combat log besides just hurricane without him being on screen. I managed to teleport 4 times if that gives you any idea.
