Shaloren, no escort quests?

I've cleared through Ruins of Kor'pul, Trollmire, Old Forrest, Shaloren Camp, and Crystalline Cave area several times with different Shaloren Shadowblades and haven't seen a single escort quest. Now I guess it makes sense that Kor'Pul and Trollmire don't have escorts... if your not intended to go there... but shouldn't those escorts be moved to Shaloren Camp and the cave if this is the case? And Old Forrest doesn't have any escorts either?

I'll have to post again about other areas, I'm just overly methodical about my clears and still keep getting waxed somewhere around level 20ish. One of these times I'll actually get lucky enough to somehow manage to get stun immunity by the time I fight the Old Forrest boss, I swear!

I've also been wondering about this.

I've cleared everything in the west now except Daikura and Dreadfall without an escort showing up.

*checking the vault supplies more evidence, I don't see any b20 shalore with escort quests in their log (but I only checked a few)*

I got the same problem with a Thaloren, with no escort quests up till Dreadfell (where he died).

Also probably a related problem, the Arena quest isn't appearing with these characters either. So no more 2 generic talent points there, no escort points... Its really quite frustrating.

Isn't there a low level limit for the Arena quest? IIRC my last 2 characters that entered Derth were level 13 and 15, the first one got the quest, the second one didn't...

It looks like the issue is that the mod.class.Game:onBirth is using the race's "random_escort_possibilities" table, not the subrace's one. I don't have time to delve further and try and work out a fix, but that is the problem.
