Crashing problem, trying to troubleshoot
I'm trying to troubleshoot why my copy of ToME keeps crashing on my Mac. I bought the game and DLCs through Steam but I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to load my DLCs (esp. Orcs) from my Steam purchase into the game client downloaded from the website.

I don't really have any advice if you're getting the same issue they are, but you could post your info in that thread.
In general with crashing, it's a good idea check the te4_log.txt file in your ToME directory. There may be useful info there for troubleshooting, especially if addons are involved. If the crash was due to invalid memory access like the other reports, then the log file may not be useful.

Heh, that's my OP on that other thread. I've looked through the crash reports (I just discovered that the txt file is in /tmp/te4_log.txt) and it's constantly a segfault (memory write error) that causes the thread to die.
