Any way for yeeks to survive the final battle without mods?

I know there are mods that allow this, but I wanted to know if there was any actual skill/item/talent that somehow allowed them to not die at the end?

By finishing the zone you get after beating one of the prides. You have to get to the bottom of the map before the timer runs out. If you fail that, you can sacrifice Aeryn if she survives the fight.

What happens after beating one of the (specific?) prides that allows yeeks to survive? Does it prevent them from being required to sacrifice themselves somehow or does it just bring them back from the dead in some fashion?

There is one possibility.
The Lichform prodigy changes your race, meaning you no longer count as week and therefore will not get the ending (iirc).

This was changed in 1.7, right? What is the new process for gaining the Lichform prodigy? Can adventurers still do it?
