Getting ToME working on Raspberry Pi

#1 Post by analogline »

So I got one of the nifty new Raspberry Pi 400s in the mail today, and wanted to see if I could get ToME working on it. My first instinct was to recompile it (since I assume the provided Linux tarballs don't have ARM binaries included) but the instructions for compiling on the official wiki are...very old.

Are those instructions basically correct even now? Are there actual ARM binaries in the official package and I should have looked first? Someone apparently has put together a Snap Store package that is supposed to work on the Pi, but I'm kinda leery of snaps.

Is this question not dumb enough for this forum?

I think picking apart the snap package may be easier than finding all the librairies necessary for compiling it yourself in the correct version.
