Lichform in Embers of Rage (EoR)

I am familiar with the life from death quest in the main campaign but is there any way to collect the lich heart and find a suitable location for the ritual in Embers of Rage?

The Quest is automatically marked as "completed" right from the start. You just need to wait til you have the desired skillpoint investment and then kill yourself.
