I just had a few questions before I try the Infinite Dungeon.

-Are there shops?

-Are there higher tier items than level 5?

-Are there escort missions?

not sure about vanilla, but there are definitely addons.
i think there is an update coming that is going to add them like every 5th floor?

no. as far as i know, 5 is the absolute maximum.

I went over 30 levels down and found zero shops. And zero escorts.

Every few levels there tends to be a room where you can find the storage vault. It's a one way thing - you can take items out but not put them back in from this mode. So if your characters playing the game through normally have hoarded some quality items you can give your ID diver a big boost.

But if you're strong enough to do the vaults, you'll be drowning in artifacts and purple gear and randarts. Almost every floor has a vault.
