Acc Bonus vs. Corrupted Strength (Reaving Combat)
Just a quick question, does the melee attack from Corrupted Strength proc benefit from staff acc. bonus? It should benefit from it since it is a proc but guessing is not a valid option in tome.

No, that's not a proc in that sense. Accuracy bonuses only effect procs on each specific attack from that weapon, Corrupted Strength is triggered by a spell. It does, however, do blight damage, which you're probably boosting with your staves, so it should hit hard nonetheless. Ruin in the Scourge tree is a weapon proc though, and thus boosted, and it also is blight damage. The heal is boosted by your staves too iirc. Combine that with any decent damage procs you can find on gear, and staff Reaver is quite strong.

I'm pretty sure it does proc, as I'm running a test adventurer and the blight damage is always multiplied by the proc multipler.
So I think the answer is yes tbh

If that's the case, it may be time for some more investigation into procs, either by code-divers or hands-on testing. If there's incorrect common knowledge floating around, it would do good to dispel it. Also, it would be great to have a (stickied?) repository of "Here'a what's procs here's what's not, and here's how they work."jenx wrote:I'm pretty sure it does proc, as I'm running a test adventurer and the blight damage is always multiplied by the proc multipler.
