I'm trying to figure out the math on Incinerating Blows, Burning Sacrifice, and the +2.5% proc / acc bonus on a staff. If I have 10 accuracy, does that increase both the regular single-target burning and the AoE burst both by 25%? Does it boost the damage of Burning Sacrifice in some way that is cumulative?
I looked over various guides and none of them seem to be clear on how that works, at least that I could find.
Thanks in advance for anyone who knows and can help.

The bonus based on your excess accuracy compared to the enemy's defense.

Well that's handy to know. Still trying to figure out how the extra damage applies across two linked skills that have what seems like interacting procs, though.
Re: Staff + Proc and Staffbringers
pretty sure the bonus only apply to procs directly triggered by a melee attack.
if its a proc that comes from another proc, the second one should not be affected.
at least as far as my understanding goes.

My understanding of the accuracy bonus is this:
You will only gain the accuracy bonus on attacks that check your accuracy as well.
If you have an attack that always hits, it doesn't reference accuracy at all and provides no bonus.
If an attack procs a spell and that spell procs another spell, the second spell will not gain the bonus because it was not caused by a staff attack that used accuracy in its formula.
Edit: additionally, the proc will only receive a bonus on the enemy that you are striking when you proc the effect. An Incinerating Blow with 5 targets within its radius will only gain the bonus damage on the one that you were attacking. The other 4 would take normal damage. Again, this is because you performed no accuracy check against the other enemies.
Although you are asking about staves here, it should be noted that shields also have the same accuracy bonus and behave the same way.

Re: Staff + Proc and Staffbringers
Huh. That's really interesting, and a little bit weird. It does make a staff build of Doombringer seem a bit less bonkers, though AoE + DoT + stun still has plenty of appeal.
Re: Staff + Proc and Staffbringers
Not every spell procs, only spells that do damage AT THE SAME TIME. So flame, lightning, pulverising augur, but not earthen missiles.
Also, the accuracy bonus is not like the absolute difference times 2.5%. It is less dramatic than that, but still pretty brilliant.
