I am a fairly new player. I notionally started downloading/installing tome years ago but never really tried to do anything with it until the last few days.
I had a character with some sort of "totem" and the GUI said I could right-click on it to configure it. But doing that just made it vanish (from the bottom of the screen) until I "use"d it again.
Was I doing something wrong? It seems like the tooltip gives me misleading advice. I wanted to set it to autoactivate when enemies were visible and adjacent, a bit like I have done with some other powers.

talents can be right-clicked to set up.
items cannot.
not sure if DG has any plans of easing it.
