Stone warden - does Weapon Mastery affect shield damage?

As a stone warden, does adding points to Weapon Mastery increase the damage done when I attack with 2 shields?

You can see which mastery will affect a weapon by looking at that weapon's description.

I think there's a special Stone Warden talent which affects shield damage ("Stoneshield" or something).
