Deleting Save games

#1 Post by Spleenling »

Is there a way to Delete ALL my save, I just uninstalled some mods and have like 20+ games I can't use.

Edit: Found the directory where they were

Edit2: I have done everything possible from disabling Steam Cloud to Reinstalling the game I CANNOT get rid of the save It takes 30 Seconds to load the load screen.

Someone please help

Edit3: Disabling the Cloud was not enough had to use the In-Game Cloud purge option

Deleting saves in-game is pretty straight forward. Go to Load Game. Click on the character. Click the Delete button in the lower right-hand corner of the screen.
And it was such a good idea...

I didn't realize that was there. Thanks for posting, as it will help me when I want to add/remove an addon to an existing character. I'd make the edit and half the time the file would get overwritten.

You don't have to delete your characters if you want to remove an addon from them. You can edit their desc.lua file and delete the addon name from the list inside.

This isn't usually recommended, as it can cause instability and a broken character. Ideally, you should turn off addons you don't want before making a character. Or finish the characters out before deleting the addon.

That's still a good bit of info. I've had to quit quite a few add-on using chars cause of endless LUA errors.

I should have specified. It really depends on what the addon modifies. If it's a race, class, or talents, then there's a good chance your character will break if you remove it. I've been mucking with the UI, which tends to be pretty safe. Just where my head was at.
