What means the number (usually 1-5?) with the description "range" when you hover over a dungeon/zone on the world map?

Pretty sure that's just how far away from it you are (you'll notice it says that range for pretty much everything)

The biggest thing would probably be for characters that need to time something, or have a very specific effective range. It saves you from counting ten tiles from your character every time, for example.
