Kill them all, of course.xx2 wrote:i have a question for you, wtf am I supposed to do now?

Re: Dumb questions thread
On anything but a summoner that wouldn't be a problem. Hope you remembered a teleport.xx2 wrote:i have a question for you, wtf am I supposed to do now?
Re: Dumb questions thread
You can try going to Spellblaze, Summonning full set of animals, then going back into Dreadfell. Not sure what happen in this scenario, but I had rare things like my summons staying on same square as me before when traversing stairs. Hope they kill something in one turn and it's easy from there.
Re: Dumb questions thread
I think that only works if there is enough room to place the summons, unfortunately. But yes, go get some means of teleportation. Then come back, teleport out and then leave the room alone.
But it does kind of look like a bug..?

Re: Dumb questions thread
aside from that horrid scene (to which I'd also say "kill those bastards with biggest shots you got, or die trying
")
I have been thinking of an answer for this:
Is it common to get load times longer and longer, more you install add-ons?
(My system runs on 2GB memory, no graphics card, dual core processors, lubuntu(linux-based) operation system)
for instance: with item and stone warden add-ons, the game loads pretty fast.
Then add 1 more, and the load times (like loading new game or load game or go to map screen) go up about 2 minutes...
Then add 2 more, and the load times... whoa, like 10 minutes or more
not that I mind at the moment, I love the game... But if they keep on making so good add-ons,
maybe gotta by a new computer, dammit

Re: Dumb questions thread
Dumb question thread, I have one of those!
I have a few techniques available to train, but In the talent tab there are multiple "techniques" that are greyed out. For example: "Technique / Two-handed maiming". In the requirements,
"Talent category known" is marked in red, as if that is the prerequisite that I'm missing. Is there any way of training these eventually or are they just meant for some other class?
If they are techniques for other classes, why are they even shown in my class' tree?
Thanks!

Re: Dumb questions thread
At levels 10, 20 and (I think) 36, and at the start if you're a Cornac, you get one category point to spend as you will. You can use this on a greyed-out talent tree to unlock it, fulfilling this prerequisite.stheno wrote:Dumb question thread, I have one of those!

You can also spend category points to increase mastery of trees you've already unlocked, which increases the multiplier they apply to the level of talents within them (once per tree max). And you can use them to buy new inscription (rune/infusion) slots, at one point per slot to a maximum of five total.

Re: Dumb questions thread
I've accidentally removed a few talents from my hot bar and I can't figure out how to get them back! They still show up on the list if I right click my character so I can still use them but I'd like to get them back on my hotbar anyways

Re: Dumb questions thread
Put the cursor over your hot bar and press "m". It'll come up with a complete list of talents, from which you can then drag and drop as desired.hobophobic wrote:I've accidentally removed a few talents from my hot bar and I can't figure out how to get them back! Re: Dumb questions thread
No need to hold the cursor in a specific place, just press 'm'!
Unfortunately, the talent list doesn't include item-given talents. (Bug, I think).
I've been un-equipping/re-equipping items to get item abilities back. Drag them around to get them where you want. But you can't right-click them to modify position/auto-use.

Re: Dumb questions thread
You can put your mouse over an item in the inventory screen and push a hotkey to assign that item to that hotkey.
Re: Dumb questions thread
Do other items that give light, other than the lantern type items in the light source slot, also ruin invisibility? Like staffs and boots that give +1 light and so?
How about items that you don't even need to equip? I just got an artifact gem that gives me +1 light by just carrying it in my inventory.
Are the items that take away light taken into account? So that if I wear something that gives -1 light, like a ring or that sack of spider eggs, does it then negate, lets say, Wintertide Phial's +1 normal light, so that I could wear it then without it giving my invisibility away?
