I don't know how out of date my knowledge is, but at least once upon a time, the chance of stunning a monster with the Rogue's various stunning talents was tied to Accuracy. This may or may not still be the case.Dwindlehop wrote:Which effects are inflicted by Accuracy? Which are inflicted by Physical Power?

Re: Dumb questions thread
Most of the time if it says "chance to stun scales with Dexterity" it is actually accuracy, and if it says "chance to stun scales with strength" it is actually physical power.
Re: Dumb questions thread
So the chance to stun is basically the same as chance to hit with a normal attack? (accuracy vs defense for rogue?)

Re: Dumb questions thread
Accuracy vs. physical save. Saves are tested depending on the effect that wants to be applied; Stun is physical so it uses physical save. Similarly, Warshout, Bellowing Roar, and Mind Blast all test against mind save (because they confuse) but they use physical, mind, and spell power respectively.
<Ferret> The Spellblaze was like a nuclear disaster apparently: ammo became the "real" currency.

What's daunting presence testing with/against?

Some number based off your constitution stat vs the enemy mental save. Doesn't work on fear immune opponents.wobbly wrote:What's daunting presence testing with/against?

Equip a digger.Xored wrote:How do I dig? I come up to walls and some say diggable.

With your inventory screen open, click the digger that you equipped and select "use."
Target an adjacent wall.
You can also put the dig ability on your hotbar by dragging the digger from your inventory screen to the hot bar. This works with any equipment that has activated abilities including ones you don't equip like the Rod of Recall.

Physical power vs. mental save, actually. The bit that scales with constitution is how much their stats go down.peaceoutside wrote:Some number based off your constitution stat vs the enemy mental save. Doesn't work on fear immune opponents.wobbly wrote:What's daunting presence testing with/against?

You can also highlight the object in your inventory and type the hotkey you want to assign it to. For example, if I put my mouse cursor on the Rod of Recall and press Ctrl+Shift+1, then the Rod of Recall will be assigned to [C]+[S]+1 for the rest of the game. I generally find that a bit easier than dragging the icon onto the hotbar.peaceoutside wrote:You can also put the dig ability on your hotbar by dragging the digger from your inventory screen to the hot bar. Oh awesome, thanks. There's been a few times when I'm trying to drag stuff around and my char runs to some random location instead.Mewtarthio wrote:You can also highlight the object in your inventory and type the hotkey you want to assign it to. I now only edit my hot keys and such in safe places because of that.
Also, is there an option to disable the "click a tile to run to that location" feature? My mouse sometimes registers two clicks or a double click when I only mean to click one. I think playing Diablo 3 damaged the left click button haha.
Re: Dumb questions thread
Yup. It's called something like "Use mouse to move".peaceoutside wrote:Also, is there an option to disable the "click a tile to run to that location" feature?

I'm a bulwark, I have a bunch of gems and dont really know what to do with them..

Re: Dumb questions thread
Sell/transmo them, basically. But keep the good ones, and a couple of each of the others. You may get lucky on an escort quest, and there are some shops you may want to visit...Xored wrote:I'm a bulwark, I have a bunch of gems and dont really know what to do with them..

Hey that reminds me... is there a way to split gems so that you can do what I just suggested, keep a couple and sell the rest? If not there should be...
