It could be that they were removing a different effect that you were not watching. Wild Infusions only remove one effect when they are used.

Yes, that's why it's a bit of a gamble to get a wild infusion that cures a wide berth of effects. You could be poisoned/confused/pinned and really you don't want to be confused, and it removes the poisoned when you activate. I tend to get mine to remove just mental and hexes/curses/diseases along with poison if I can and tend to try to avoid magical and physical effect removing ones.

i have a question about leveling.
at this time, i prefer to do two starting dungeons first, then sand hole and old forest, lake nur, maze and daikara. after that i clear other starting dungeons trying to find blood of life or other valuable artifacts. will i get more experience and gain more levels eventually if i clear every starting dungeon of every race before going to sandworms/old forest?

huh, i thought it's the best ones because freeze, pinning and blindness are the things i am most afraid of atm. maybe at high levels i can get almost immunity to them though.

Just a hunch, but I'm guessing Final Master is accustomed to having high spell and physical saves (perhaps from "Chant of Fortitude"?) and generally relies on that for magical and physical effects.

There are a lot of places where being able to remove magical and physical effects is a huge help. Being frozen sucks. Being disarmed as a melee character sucks. The ability to remove mental effects such as confusion is also helpful for many characters in many places. Wild infusions are interesting, though, 'cause there is no dominant one: the best wild infusion to use depends on the character build and where you are in the game.

It's just a way to tell you what stance you're in, almost - it also amplifies the damage of striking powers. It's a sustainable talent the way Teleport to Angolwen is a regular talent in that it's a basic part of the class, but there's no need to improve upon it so you can't spend points on it. Grappling Stance on the other hand ... that one's kinda evil. Yeah, you're doing nasty damage, but you're also going through your stamina like popcorn.
Having satellite internet is a lot like relying on the processes described in those RFC's for your internet. Except, instead of needing to worry about statues interrupting your connection, this time you worry about the weather. I have satellite internet. Fun, no?

Being disarmed as a melee character sucks.
definitely. especially when you are an archer and aim is switched on. you cannot neither move nor switch it off. by the way, latter sounds a bit strange, why do you need a bow to stop to be concentrated :/

Usually expected in 1 DarkGod Time Unit, or thereabouts ;)

I think DG is putting a lot of polish on this release, so we're unlikely to see it until he's quite satisfied that there's no major bugs left on it for any platform.

*New Dumb Question*

I've just updated from beta28 to beta29, and cannot get my character to transfer. Characters I create in beta28 do not appear in beta29, & vice-versa. I am logged in to my player profile, and the save is in default location on my drive. Any help? Thanks. As a long-time Roguelike player, I am enjoying this one.

Characters are not transferable between betas I'm afraid. Either keep playing them in b28 or make new ones in b29.

From the way I understand things you would get more early levels by doing the starting dungeons first making you stronger for the other dungeons you mention. The benefit to this is more talents available as the dungeons will then also become stronger to challenge you (up to a certain point). Once you've beaten daikara I would think the starting dungeons are mostly a waste of time and even the majority of artifacts you're getting at that point are pretty worthless to you.

I haven't done any experimenting with this but my guess is that it's mostly a wash once all the dungeons are beaten with maybe an extra level gained one way or the other.
