I was looking at the Talent Planner (This was always my favourite part of Path of Exile!).
It wasn't working, and I noticed that it was for v1.7.0, whereas the Steam version is 1.7.6
I imagine I could download the correct client version from the website, but first a couple of questions, if someone would kindly indulge me:
- I guess this won't then be connected to Steam? (tbh, I can't enable Cloud Saves anyway, so I can't run the same character on two machines. This is probably not a big deal)
- Would I have to go back to the steam version to play the DLCs? (I have them all, and I'll want to play them eventually. I am just playing the base game to get back into it after a 5y break)
- Does it get automatic updates, like steam?
Cheers for any help

Re: Client Version
1.7.0 is a minimum supported version; it should work fine on the current version. What problems are you having? What version of Talent Point Planner are you using?viciouscat wrote: ↑Wed Aug 05, 2026 12:53 pm I was looking at the Talent Planner (This was always my favourite part of Path of Exile!).

Re: [Solved] Client Version
My apologies - Hadn't realised you needed to start a new game with the addon in order for the game to pick it up
Now, do I restart my L12 Rogue or not?
Once I've finished my first run, I'll probably install the ZOnmnibus thing - Do I need to remove the planner to avoid clashes?
Thanks for your help

Common misunderstanding; `s cool.viciouscat wrote: ↑Sun Aug 09, 2026 11:20 am My apologies - Hadn't realised you needed to start a new game with the addon in order for the game to pick it up
As long as you disable Talent Point Planner in the Addons dialog when you enable ZOmnibus, there won't be a problem. ZOmnibus will pop up a reminder dialog during character creation if you forget.viciouscat wrote: ↑Sun Aug 09, 2026 11:20 am Once I've finished my first run, I'll probably install the ZOnmnibus thing - Do I need to remove the planner to avoid clashes?
