total newb qol addons?

hello all

dumb question, can you pls recommend some qol mods for a newb? like, some UI mods or something...
for example, map for me is useless. things like that...

found many while googling, but the most used ones (like zomnibus) are way too comprehensive for new player, i don't want or need all that.

Welcome to the forums Shoki,

I use Easy Map myself so can confirm it works with recent versions.

Most UI-modification mods shouldn't need you to restart with a new character - mods that change game rules or locations are likely to need a restart though.

The one mod I would highlight is Adjustable Levelup because it allows your character to exceed the level 50 cap (which you almost certainly will hit, possibly well before the end of the game). This does require you to restart with a new character, but you can then adjust options (like maximum level, maximum attribute values, etc) without having to restart again.
